as an avid LCPDFR player the following drives me nuts

 

LAG - never had a lag before until 1.0. ive tried a hundred solutions that cant seem to fix the problem.

 

CAR PACKS - tried so many of them that causes major texture problems

 

SPOTLIGHT MOD - worked before, now wont work at all.

 

all i am looking for is a non-lag realistic game lol. If you have thoughts or opinions feel free

Which hundred solutions have you tried? 

Which carpacks have you tried using? High poly = More texture loss. 

What was the latest change you made to the game? I think that it may be a conflict. 

1.0 was the last thing.  - i have very little scripts. 

 

i've tried commandlines and all types of lag fixes i found on the site. i've looked for low poly car packs and if you now of one pls let me know lol.

Nobody is forcing you to use vehicle mods. If you're having texture loss with the current ones you're using, try installing some non-ELS ones, I suggest using Lt.Caines mapped default models.

 

Another thing, I've noticed most, if not all, scripts won't be compatible with 1.0, in my experience. It's sucks, but 1.0 has a plentiful amount of features that I think makes up for lack of script compatibility.

I count one solution, 99 to go. Which commandline are you using?

Are you running the game as administrator? Legal copy of the game? Which in-game graphics settings are you using?

Whats your system sepcs? I dont use the car packs, am using an edited timecyc, and thats about it. I only edit Police cars and sometimes the taxi. However on the Spotlight issue that must be on your end because I use my spotlight about everytime I play and it works perfectly. 

gordon - only mod vehicles i have are police vehicles only. the spot light used to work. lately it freezes the game

This part is good:

refreshrate 60

But here is where I start to wonder some things.

First you are telling the game to use 1.1 videomemory

-availablevidmem "1.1"

But then you are telling the game to use all available videomemory with this line:

-percentvidmem "100"

..and thus scrapping/overruling the aforementioned line.

 

-framelimit 0
-width "1600" 
-height "900" 
-windowed 
-minspecaudio

This is fine, but I'd recommend you to use this instead:

-novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -novsync -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

If that doesn't help, use this instead

-renderquality 0 -shadowdensity 0 -texturequality 0 -viewdistance 0 -detailquality 0 -novblank -norestrictions -percentvidmem 100 -minspecaudio -novsync -renderquality 0 -frameLimit 0 -nomemrestrict

Feel free to add the

-windowed -width "1600" 
-height "900" 

options if you want to.

Do you have the right Coordinates for the spotlight? Do you have Spolight v1.1? The script would crash if I didnt install the light correctly or when I had the wrong coordinates (sometimes). Also make sure your using a vehicle that is spotlight enabled in  the ini.

ok, not bad on the lag, lol HOWEVER spotlight WORKS !! but the beam of light disappears depending on the angle. its like its not even there

 

whats a low poly # 5.78 ? or is that too high ?
