Your opinion on Windows 8?

Featured Replies

I have Windows 8 and one thing I can say is that I have had no issues. I usually use the desktop part of it most of the time. I like the look and feel of it.

Advantages

-----------------------------

1. Faster

2. Streamline

3. Apps

Disadvantages

------------------------------

1. Compatibility With Some Programs

2. Possible Bugs

3. Tough To Get Directly To BIOS, Safe Mode. etc.

Are you saying this because you have seen what it is like or do you have Windows 8 on your PC? Just wondering.

My friend had it on his computer and he needed help installing GTA IV, and I think the UI is so limited and too user-friendly that it's just like a Mac, where everything is done behind the scenes, kinda.

I'm a more advanced user so I don't like it when you can't change the settings the way you want it, so Windows 7 was perfect for me.

Windows 8? No. Just, no.
