Arrested?!

Featured Replies

So I did a traffic-stop on a DUI (Random event) and placed the driver in the back of my cruiser, for some reason, said person then gets out of the cruiser then decides it would be an excellent idea to steal and drive off in it, with me trying to shoot it to a stop. Another cop was on the same street, but to my horror, instead of assisting me, he decided to ARREST me!! Possible bug?! (Note, I had no wanted level appear and definitely had LCPD:FR activated and running!).

I had the same experience as you with the cruiser theft, but not the Officer bug; however, I did not Force Duty. :P

I think it's just a minor bug or glitch.

Side note: Sounds like a weird glitch, I'm sure we'll fix it.

Here is my detailed experience:

To sum it up, I detained him in my car, drove him to the station, then he stole my cruiser. :teehee:

Important to remember: detaining is not arresting, and (in LCPD:FR) the subject is not handcuffed if only being detained.

Thanks for the note.

If you're mentioning this because I say the "arrest window" in that post, I should have probably called it by another name, such as the "Suspect Option menu".

The main reason why I said "arrest" is because I'm used to the old 0.95 arrest pop-up.

No worries though, I know the difference between the two.

When i always choose my cruiser before going out on patrol.. I ALWAYS have someone running up to me trying to steal it.

That is why i now carry an M4 assault Rifle with me, Someone tries to steal my cruiser.. I blast a million rounds into their torso because NOBODY steals my cruiser.

It may seem harsh, But it taught the guy to never try to steal my cruiser xD

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

That is unfortunate, but hilarious at the same time.  :teehee:

Perhaps you should try a trainer, which has the option to make all peds ignore you.
