Cx96 Texture Productions

Featured Replies

Hello all of LCPDFR! Some of you may have seen me around the site here and there, but I decided to try my hand at making some textures. I have absolutely NO experience with Photoshop at all, and this is the first ever texture I have edited/made, so bear with me as the quality won't be the greatest. Lol.

For my first ever texture, I decided to change up the Monroeville Police skin that 412moneybagzz had made from a request by me. I have gotten permission from him to edit it if I choose to. The original file(s) can be found in my file section on my profile.

It is currently a WIP, and probably will be for a time, considering that I have never used Photoshop before, lol. I'll post pics of the work and hopefully the finished product!

The left is the original skin, and the right is what I'm working on, so far I have the black part done...

PS: I'm changing the location of a few things and changing it to a Liberty City car, instead of a Monroeville Police car. Pics Attached.

HAHA :teehee:  I was like you... where I started for the first time.  after you done one or more you will get better and it's fun to do, it's good when you release the skins to the public and get full credit for it.

-good luck for your first time

Well, after about 2 or 3 hours, I have the texture pretty much finished, I haven't tried it in-game yet, but I am about to, here is the comparison between the original and the edited one. As I said before, bear with me, this my first ever time using Photoshop and every doing anything like this.

On the left is the original and on the right is the beta, or whatever you would call it. lol.

EDIT: Well, I think that it is pretty much done!

Here is a sneak peek at the car!

EDIT2: It is uploaded!! Just have to wait for it to be aporved by the staff!:D

Hey again!

So I finally have some free time so I decided to try my hand at another skin! Now, it isn't going to be 100% accurate, mainly due to the fact that I have never found, or even seen for that matter, a Lexus LS400 police car.

Anyways, some of you may have seen this car before, but it is James May's Lexus police car from the cheap police car challenge for Top Gear. I know it's simple, but hey, Top Gear is my favourite television program and this is easily my favourite episodes!

It is a very simple texture that I will be putting on a Crown Vic mainly because it is the closest thing I've seen to this Lexus. Also, this is just pure satirical work, I don't expect many people to use it in-game, but hey! You never know!

I'll post periodical updates as I go on.

Sorry for the bump, and if I am in the wrong, I do apologize!

Anyways, I hadn't made a texture in a while, and I decided to scrap the Top Gear police car because it didn't look quite right. Instead, I am currently working on finishing up a Pennsylvania State Police texture for a Ford Expedition. I want to put it here first, before I upload it to the site so I can get some feed back on it and fix anything you guys may find. Making this was a bitch because I had trouble lining everything up right, and there are still a few lines that I need to fix. Here are some shots of what I have thus far.

You'll see on the back of the truck, around the license plate, the line looks a bit wonky. That isn't my fault. That is what the model does to the line because of it's placement.
