When I try and change the lightmodes in my car (ELS V7, Ctrl+M) LCPDFR spawns an ambulance, which makes my game crash. Is there a way to change the key bindings so Ctrl+M in LCPDFR does nothing?

The lightning modes are currently bugged, hang tight for a patch. 

 

Also, if you mean that an Ambulance spawn in an instant, that is not a feature of LCPDFR but the Simple Native Trainer. 

It doesn't spawn in an instant, LCPDFR dispatches an ambulance to my location, with the sound-track of "Dispatch an Ambulance immediately, officer needs assistance."

I would use ELS V6, but alot of the new cars being released don't work properly with it!

He is not referring to the LCPDFR lightning modes, but the ELS ones..

 

You should just change the key ELS and LCPDFR bindings to be different from one another in order not to trigger the ambulance response: 

- Either change ELS bindings to ALT+E instead of current Ctrl+E OR

- Change LCPDFR ambulance hotkey to Ctrl+E instead of current ALT+E

As for the crashing...you probably have a modded Ambulance model, which overhelms the system, causing a crash...

 

EDIT: why wouldnt they work properly with ELS 7? The models are essentially configured in the same way, because both v7 and v6 use the same extras for the same functions (1,2,3,4 - primary lights; 5,6 - takedown;, 7,8,9 - secondary)..the code is just `a bit´ different.

and as for the ELS not working with the new models - I have absoloutely no idea, the lights just don't seem to run properly with ELS V6 on V7 vehicles. As you can tell, I'm not technical with scripts!

In what way do they not work properly?..elaborate on that please, cause I find it really odd and it could be just a simple fix.

Agreed; many of the vehicles in my game that were made when ELS V6 was out work perfectly fine, if not better, with ELS V7.
