So I had ELS V7 before and I had no problem. Now it just constantly is causing my game to crash. I know ELS V7 is the problem because I did a clean install and I installed the mods one by one to find out which on is the problem and now the game wont get past that final loading screen where it says what mission you're on without crashing. Any ideas?

Have you tried removing your save files? Running game as admin? Latest Patch?

So I just did a clean install again because of issues before. I forgot to get the latest patch for the game which I just did however this made it worse. Now the game never stops loading. The slideshow of the characters just keeps going and going and going and going. It goes forever and never actually loads, only way to exit is to restart the entire computer. Fix one problem onto a worse one now...

Where did you remove the save fils from? How are you running the game as admin?

Admin I went into the GTA IV file and did properties compatibility, run as admin for both GTA IV application file and Launch GTA IV file

Make sure this http://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese- and this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5549 is installed. 

 

Also, make sure that you do not have both these files: xlive.dll or dsound.dll

Okay so those might solve my new new problem. I finally got the game to load. Now, when I get into a cop car and try to turn on the lights J doesnt work, nor do any of the light keys. I know ELS is working because I can hit the manual siren air horn and I can pull up the lighting control panel. I was able to change my takedown light pattern but thats it... So in other words my J,K,L,U,I keys arent working. I checked the ELS folder and they're programmed correctly... Any ideas? Also, yes my trainer keybindings are turned off so that isnt the problem.

Have you read the ELS manual? There are some stages involved in ELS v7, which is why someone would need to read the manual. 

I have installed ELS V7 before and never had any issues, this time I did the exact same thing (to the best of my memory) and now the buttons dont work. I've checked the manual and did all the installation steps properly.

Everything is working again I had to make a few changes but its all good now
