Please exit the game and re-install the latest version of the social club: (link provided)" I have followed all the steps on the link provided and I'm sure I have the latest version of Social Club installed. I posted a private ticket with Rockstar and it was useless. They gave me very general responses and none of which work. I have been trying to get this game working for months now and have had no luck. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Rockstar claims this issue is because my computer is not up to specs. I beg to differ. That shouldn't give me a social club error saying i don't have the latest version. Anyone have any ideas?

I used to wonder that exact question for the longest time and found out not to long ago! It's actually a Federal Signal Raydian lightbar! ​

​Yeah their support is awful. I have tried both of those things, no luck on the steam one and if I run the exe as admin it gives me an error saying that it wasn't started via steam. I did the deletion idea and it didnt work.

I just tried doing a complete re install and made sure they're both on the same C drive. That didn't work, I'm still getting the same error code. I put a ticket into their system and their first response was awful. Waiting to hear what else they have to say.

That didn't work. I installed it on the same drive as the social club and the game still won't get passed the error code

​Yeah I already checked out their website before asking on here. I followed all those steps with no luck. Right now I have moved stuff around to put it on my C drive with the social club, I'll let you know what happens

I havent done a complete re installation but I have verified the integrity of the game cache.

Rockstar has answered a ticket with no solutions. If anyone has any idea of a way to fix this please let me know

I bought GTA V of steam and installed everything to my D drive where I download all of my steam games. I tried opening the game and I got an error message saying, "The Social Club fialed to load due to an incomplete installation (code 16). Please exit the game and re-install the latest version of the Social Club: (link provided)." I went to the link and followed all the steps with no luck. I get the same error every time I try and open GTA V. My guess is that when I download and install the latest version of social club, because it is an automatic installation and I can't direct where it installs, it is being installed on my C drive. I'm assuming that because the game is on my D drive and social club is on my C drive that is why it isnt registering as having the latest version of the game... Any ideas on ways to fix this? I cannot put my game on my C drive either because the game is way to large.

I bought GTA IV off steam so its legal. A little over a month ago I started to have problems playing GTA, it would crash after loading, I did the usual clear the invalid saved games, deleted the settings file, and even re installed the game. Now, after I've put everything back into the game I have a new problem with the game crashing after the loading. There are times where the game loads fine and works but about 95% of the time it crashes. LCPDFR 1.0d's new crash analyzer thing says there is a valid save game found (I beg to differ) and it isn't an LCPDFR crash. When the game is loading the loading screen says starting new game. Any ideas? Since then it worked out really well, then the other day it just stopped working. I did do a little more modding and it just stopped working. To fix the problem last time I followed someones advice and did this: I had the same problem, I uninstall lcpdfr, started the game,saved the game and insalled lcpdfr. After this the problem was solved. try it, maybe it will work. AND It is also common for ELS to crash, with the same behavior shown in your Advancedhook.log. Since then I have done the same things that fixed it last time with no luck. Any ideas on things I could try this time? The game starts up, Social Club log in pops up, I do what I always do and it crashes. I validated game files in Steam, which hasn't solved the problem. The SC log in just disappears after i sign in. Also, I currently do not have LCPDFR installed in an attempt to fix the game. Here are all my .log files. The LCPDFR.log file is still in my main game folder even though it isnt currently installed. Also, I have tried to delete the SETTINGS file with no luck, and I cannot delete my save game file because it isnt in the file. I had this problem before, the saved games aren't saving where they normally do even though there are saved games, so that may help fix the problem if I only knew where the games were being saved.

Everything is working again I had to make a few changes but its all good now

I have installed ELS V7 before and never had any issues, this time I did the exact same thing (to the best of my memory) and now the buttons dont work. I've checked the manual and did all the installation steps properly.

Okay so those might solve my new new problem. I finally got the game to load. Now, when I get into a cop car and try to turn on the lights J doesnt work, nor do any of the light keys. I know ELS is working because I can hit the manual siren air horn and I can pull up the lighting control panel. I was able to change my takedown light pattern but thats it... So in other words my J,K,L,U,I keys arent working. I checked the ELS folder and they're programmed correctly... Any ideas? Also, yes my trainer keybindings are turned off so that isnt the problem. I only have dsound.dll Oh and yes the On behind each vehicle is turned on
