No response from lcpdfr 1.0

Featured Replies

I have installed lcpdfr 1.0 on a clean install of gta iv with no other mods whatsoever.  I have installed c++ redis 2012 x86 (i even removed any x64), microsoft.NET Framework 4.5, and updated GFWL.  I reinstalled lcpdfr 1.0 on anther completely clean install of gta iv and still nothing when I press alt p ingame.  I even tried the manual install.  I am running windows 7 if that info is needed.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here is the only log I have

Legal copy of the game? Running the game as administrator? Latest patch? What other mods are you using? What operating system are you using? Make sure that LCPDFR 0.95 is removed.

Also, please install these

Running the game as administrator: Go to the GTA IV folder, right click on GTAIV.exe, Properties, Compatibility and select 'Run this program as administrator', do the same exact thing to the LaunchGTAIV.exe.

I am using a legal copy of the game and running as admin.  And there are absolutely no other mods being used.  And I did install all those files and also tried to reinstall all those files.  I still have to response with alt p.

Okay we have identified your problem: LCPDFR cannot load because the ScriptHookDotNet does not even load. You have just installed DirectX right?

Please run DependencyWalker on your ScriptHookDotNet.asi file, then choose File->Save and upload the .dwi file here (you may have to .zip it before).

Please do not PM me unless really necessary (knowing you helps). If you think you need my attention in a topic, tag me.

Do you have a LCPDFR Log inside the root folder of GTA IV or EFLC? I was having the same issue and once I added a log, it worked.

how do you add the log?

Sorry man, but you are missing both: ScriptHook.dll (the C++) and DirectX!

Thats weird, I did install all of them.  I guess its reinstall time.

If you find a log somewhere on the fourms, you can insert it into your root GTA IV folder or EFLC. You should also do a clean install then download the Microsoft files.
