I noticed I can enable ALPR in the police computer, but nothing appears on screen and does not seem to be activated (no text with plate info when passing cars).  Do I have to install the ALPR mod for this to function?

You have to be patient. Not all cars are flagged. You do not need to install anything extra, just activate it and drive behind vehicles.

There should be a features page in the readme, listing all new functionality, so we all know what mods we don't need any longer.

I agree with that lol.... Most "extra" mods are obsolete now.

Going to chime in here: the ALPR/ANPR functions in a circle around your vehicle. It picks up cars from all directions, so you don't need to be behind a car to have it checked.
