Quick Question; V1.0 Install

Featured Replies

Good evening, and thanks for the great new mod LCPDFR!  Much appreciated.

Quick question; is everybody installing over the LCPDFR.95 or do I need to do a fresh install of GTAIV?

Thanks in advance,

You must remove 0.95 before installing 1.0.

OK, thanks CP702.  Just remove it via control panel or is there a remove option with  LCPDFRv.95 installer?

Also, should I get rid of the scripts prior to the install (VdhPH, Braveheart, ect)?

Sorry, have not read the read-me file yet, I'm eagerly waiting to get back home to my box!

Thanks again,

EDIT:  Found link to help those who need to uninstall .95:  http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action/_/script-data-file-modification-tutorials/how-to-uninstall-lcpdfr-r19

The scripts may or may not be an issue. I'd try with them, and remove them if you see problems. The key is removing 0.95, as that *will* create issues.
