ELS help needed - change flash color

Featured Replies

Hey there -

I got everything working fine and stuff, I know how to change ELS colors on CVIP's and other mods, but for some reason I can't get them flash the color I want on a Lambo.
I did manage to change the textures of the lights, but they still flash blue and red above the light-bar, as shown in the picture below.
The reflections on the ground and other objects are fine..

Any advice?

The model is by Spidereon, outsid3r4, monster875, alex189 - http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?do=comments&cat=371&start=0&id=48799&orderBy=

Go to your ELS folder in your GTA IV directory. Open the default_config, scroll down till you see [ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ].

Change The Bold Ones:

[ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ]
Extra_1 = blue
Extra_2 = blue
Extra_3 = red
Extra_4 = red
Extra_5 = white
Extra_6 = white
Extra_7 = amber
Extra_8 = amber
Extra_9 = amber

Change to any color you like.. If you want all red then change the blue to red.
(The Extra_5 to Extra_9 I don't know which lights is that, just change the bold ones.)

I have done it already, they still flash blue/red with AMBER/ORANGE reflections on the ground.
(I forgot to mention that I WANT amber flashing lights on this lambo, so reflections are correct)

If you are asking how to make the actual ELS LEDs Amber, then it is not possible without the model being unlocked and I doubt this one is...

Thats not true, he can just edit the texture in the WTD. Open the WTD of the lambo with openiv and find emerglights_emis or the texture that has the red/blue/amber els textures on it. Export it and then edit it as you need. Just copy/paste and move the blue over the red/amber if you want everything blue. If your talking about changing the flashing on the ground, make sure your changing the colors for the right car slot that the lambo is installed in. I just wrote a nice reply on how to do this a few weeks ago here '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> just scroll down a few posts

Seems we all are having a bit of confusion in here.

I DID replace the red/blue ELS textures already with Spark4 in the WTD file.

The reflections on the ground are amber which is CORRECT.

The lights still give out BLUE/RED glow as seen in the first photo attached in the first post.

The ELS lightbar is orange due to changed textures, which is correct.

The only thing that bothers me is the glow around the lightbar which is red blue..

Just look at the picture;

The lightbar is orange, the reflections are orange and the glow around the lightbar is blue/red.
