Here's the best example I could find:

This is what your new MOBO setup will look like, the Dell XPS will not look like this.

 

You will have to look for the existing cooling systems in the Dell XPS and remove them so you can access the CPU, then take the CPU and install it correctly into the new MOBO.

 

Then, taking the CPU Fan (If that's the route you take) you will install it over the CPU like pictured above.
