  • And there goes Scotland's only police helicopter.   I don't suppose that anyone could have survived that if they were in it?

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

Damn....just seen the news....how are we going to get another chopper and a equally good grew to fly it.

@ Sam, they could have survived because the helicopter only crashed, no explosion or fires, so theoretically the crew could be safe.

Considering there was no explosion or fire, they could have survived but at the moment they are sadly feared dead.

Uh Oh lets hope no one dies from that

There are no confirmed reports of fatalities at this time.

Take a look at the following accounts for updates:

What is it with police vehicles crashing at the moment? On Friday there was two crashes involving police vehicles in West Sussex one in Littlehampton (In-between Chichester and Worthing) and another in Hove (Near Brighton). And there was another crash with another police vehicle on Wednesday somewhere in West Sussex But at least it wasn't as serious as this helicopter crash. Shit I hope everyone is ok.

The Police have only confirmed one fatality at this time.

I have just been in Glasgow doing some christmas shopping and parked next to the scene. Multiple fire appliances still on scene with all other services. Car park was filled with news vans from around the world.

The area is very congested at this time.

EDIT: 8 people now confirmed dead.

FUCK...never though anything like that would happen....R.I.P to everyone there.

I went to see it while doing some Christmas shopping and it is a horrible scene but all the services are being so calm and professional about it! This incident is a real testament to my fellow Glaswegians who helped out. Yes, R.I.P
