  • Do you have WinRar installed? Because, the file you are trying to view is probably a ZIP file. Several files compressed into one. You need WinRar, or 7zip to open those files.

Then after that when im playing the game how do i get the car

It's okay :) Read the attached readme that comes with most mods, that'll help you. If there is none, this is the generic one:

Open up "pcmodelscdimagesvehicles.img"  with OpenIV and search for the name of the car that you want to replace, then press import button and replace with the new one. Note: You must replace not add new ones. For example, if you have police.wtd and police.wtf, you need to replace those two inside the vehicles.img file

Also, create a backup of each original files, they are useful in future if something should go wrong. Hope this helps.

It depends. Read my instruction and it should not be hard. Also, read the OpenIV documentation.

Yes, it works on all Windows architectures.

it says make sure i have windows XP (Service Pack 2)

I do not use any ELS cars, just vanilla cars.

And I think that is the oldest operating system allowed. Taking screenshot of any error messages would help.

Are you running OpenIV as administrator?

2. Copy the image into paint
