Youtube Uploading Takes Forever

I do render it, thought Sony V 12, and that I don't like to compress it as the video content can be very poor

Oh nice, that's a good idea! I don't like Sony V 12 all that much cause the quality is reduced! I'll have to try handbreak, completely forgot about that! How would you go about editing a video though? Or is that something I've forgotten about handbreak too.....? lol

Handbrake is nothing more than a compressor. You can't edit videos with it, but you can however set the aspect ratio, sound settings, ect.

Figured, hmm well I want something I can use to edit the video as well but don't want to bring down the quality of the video when it get processed by software like movie maker and sony V12......

As long as you have the correct render settings, the video quality should not be decreased. There's a few tips and tutorials out there on finding the best render settings, a quick Google search should help you out a lot.

I messed up my last post very bad indeed "sorry about that". I never did say that I didn't like it at all, I use Sony Vegas pro 12, and It's one of the best editing software there is - and "yea" I use it. All I'm saying that I would I prefer to upload an good high content video and wait for 10 hours.

As I said before, it depends on your render/export settings. I don't notice any drop of quality in my videos after rendering them through Handbrake.

When you did compressed the video what was the size? and what was the size before you compressed the video

For me a four minute video created and rendered through Adobe After Effects in 1440p MP4 format comes out at about 180mb. Compressing that through Handbrake lowers the file-size to 90mb. No drop of quality, and it's a significant drop in size.

That's Half the file, 90 Half of 180. Pretty good "indeed" and so less time to upload. and that WMV format is allot smaller format then MP4.

Yeah I find that Adobe After Effects works best for me, but I'll have to try using handbreak to run my final vids through.
