MrMpunit got a reaction from DeputyJake in Alienware Computer..?Honestly the Alienware that you are looking at isn't really worth it for the price. The Alienware that you linked is more of a mobile platform or console type setup than a gaming rig. Personally I don't have a problem with Alienware, however if you think about it, you will have to replace this thing in a year or two because it just won't be able to keep up.
It would suck if you got this thing and it turns out it can barely play GTA V or not at all (when it comes out for pc). Then what......you'll be stuck saving up for another computer.
Plus the graphics card has ddr3 memory not gddr5 like a normal desktop card, sure it may have 4 gigs but it isn't fast.
I strongly suggest and advise that you build your own computer, trust me, I made the mistake of getting a mobile gaming device and I definitely would have rather built my own computer instead of spending $1600 for a mobile gaming device.

MrMpunit got a reaction from 169Gaming in [WIP] Police Roleplay SystemsWell, I hope that you guys do end up making the right call that will not only make WSP command and its community happy but also the people you have shown here on LCPDFR.
A full feature pay to use plan could be possible? So we would be paying for the updated versions as they are released? Or will you attempt to have more.....(for lack of a better word) 'control' to be able to shut the 'client' down if monthly payments aren't made.....?
I really like the system as do others. We hope that either a full feature gets released with not much hidden or over the top fees or a limited feature version that isn't limited to the point where it loses its effectiveness.

And of course (with all due and the up most respect) we all hope you aren't just advertising for your clan here. It's nice to hear that another community has made an in-game 'police-computer' and linked it to web app(s). However, if you aren't going to release to the public at all in anyway....you've.....pretty much teased the LCPDFR community and advertised your clan lol. (With all due respect......)
I mean nothing negative by it nor do I mean to disrespect, but put yourself in our positions lol. :p This is a badass system! :D

MrMpunit got a reaction from ScarecrowWest in Can firefighters do this?If you don't pay that 'fee' then yes FD can stand by and do nothing, they'll wet down the nearby buildings and ready themselves to spring into action as soon as the next build catches on fire (or about to). If that next building has paid that fee.
People don't realize how expensive these services are. Sure there are some fincanical problems with how the city and/or state handles those budgets (which i why they seem way underfunded).
Politions these days though........you're voting between a few bowls of shit more and more frequently, the only difference is the smell lol. There are a good few but don't last long in the 'system'.

MrMpunit got a reaction fromDeactivated Memberin Which of These Computers Will be Best for Gaming?I would have to say one of the AMD builds to be honest. The second one I believe would be best of the two however. Mainly the amd builds over the intel becaue a six core in general will be able to handle more than a dual core i3. Plus it has a 550 power supply so it will give you some wiggle room if you ever decide to overclock either your gpu or cpu.
If you've got the money I'd upgrade to an amd 8 core, or at least that should keep that in mind for you upgrade in the future. However if get a high end intel i7 quad core it will be able to keep up and should have much of a problem out powering the amd 8 core (assuming no overclocking is invovled).
