.95 beta players, stop whining..

Featured Replies

I started playing LCPDFR just last week, i started playing on version .91 because i did some reading first and discovered it was the more stable version, after a few days i moved up to .95 to try it out, the first thing i have to say, its not as bad as people are making it sound, second if you are just looking for some fun, go play world of warcraft, it has a billion dollar company behind it and im sure youll find it let buggy, for those of you that wish to play a realiatic simulator as well as my self, then play .95 and do what i do, when it crashes, i write down where i was what i was doing and what i clicked to make it crash, compile a list and post it on the forums, if u want a bug free gAme so bad, why not help test it as you play? If you want to be a part of LCPDFR community act like, when ur game crashes say crP and reatart it, dont complain, the developers are voulteers and doing their best :)

We arnt suppost to have 95 to begin with some tester leaked it (i think) We are told not to assist or do bug reports because the official 95 version is much more stable and better than the public version

There are a few things which have to be clarified first, however. Firstly, we will not be providing any support whatsoever for any issue relating to this testing version. It is what it is, a testing version, and you download it and install it by your own choice. Secondly, we will not be accepting any issue reports or feature requests. Finally, we also ask that all discussion about the testing version of 0.95 is kept to the comments of this post, and is not discussed anywhere else, on any website. We will still be retaining our alpha and beta testers to carry out their duties to report issues and bugs and to request further changes, it would be nonsensical and utterly impractical to accept issue reports/support requests/feature requests from those who are not designated testers due to the overwhelming workload it would dump on us.

A unknown tester gave the installer to his friend, and the friend released a work-around for the security systems - a better system have been set in place since then, though.

or just suck it all up like i do, deal with the crashes and wait for the final release. not much else we can do ya know. other than not playing it until then...

Pretty much my entire point in this thread, Thanks for summing it up :P

Forgive me, but in what way is World Of Warcraft a good choice that relates to LCPDFR?

WoW = Million Dollar company consisting of hundreds of members

LCPDFR = Small modding group with almost no funds and a few members (excluding beta testers)

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

Although I completely agree with the fact that people should stop whining, I don't think it's necessary, like some regular members are doing, to put "no support..." in their signatures and reply to every 0.95 support topic. Leave that to the mods and devs and let them deal with it as they should be: just locking these topics. There's no need to do bug reports as well since the testers are doing this extensively and it is unlikely you'll find a bug they haven't already.

Like echo04 said, just play the beta with its bugs and wait for the final release.

I don't mean to bash people who only want to follow the forum rules and be supportive to others but as far as 0.95 support requests go, I think it's best to leave that to the mods and devs.

I was not saying WoW is in anyway shape or form like LCPFR, i was just pointing out the dffernece of a company with moeny behind them, and one who is all volunteer

Thank you for the kind words, and writing down but reports are nice, but we've submitted so many of them that a few developers are now saying that the ones I get are repeats and nothing new. We have several new methods in place to catch bugs that the "public" release does not have that will help us even more. Best way to support us is to try and stay happy, and use what the mod provides for you, which I think is a slightly flawed (through code restrictions, not through design) but ultimately fun experience.

silly self-righteous members trying to stick up for the beta mod... lol get over yourself :P Wait till it comes out, don't try to be a big shot and defend it not being released yet.

Ponder this question for a moment: What would happen if no one "stuck up for the beta mod?"

You guys need to just listen to the developers and knock it off. I f you guys are upset about V.95 just wait and play .91 until everything is figured out. The versions are barely any different anyway.

We've been telling people all along to just wait for the stable release but that hasn't really worked.....

Minor correction though, the public beta release of .95 and the final release of .91 are barely different.
