Hi all! I have been using this mod - http://gtaforums.com/topic/420911-add-new-car-gta-iv/ for 2-3 months it works perfectly. But I've got a problem with it, when I try to add 1 more vehicle. 

 

 I have 32 new cars added, I have no issues everything goes perfect. But when I add one more random car washes start spawning around me and this won't stop. I read about this problem in this topic but I didn't saw a solution.

As I udnerstood, I must change the vehicle .ide line. I have this car vehicles.ide line:

reventon, reventon, car, BLISTA, BLISTA, VEH@LOW, VEH@LOW_HI4_HI4, 1, 40, 0.2967, 0.2967, 0, 5, 1.0 ,0,

 

I changed 40 to 1 even tried both 1 and 40 to be 0, but the problem stayed. Any solutions now?

 

Even tried with adding new img file - newveh2.img, newhandling2.cfg, newvehciles2.ide still problem exist. Changed the frq to the 3 cars in the newveh2.img to 1, 0 and the problem is still there :(

Car washes spawning all over the place sounds like a save corruption to me. Remove them (the save files) from here: 

X:Users%username%AppDataLocalRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames

 Everyone writes that it's the frq of the car spawning. This save is not mine, it's downloaded. When I try to start a new game, the game just crashes I will examine tomorrow to see whether the save is the problem or not, but I think it's not.

Alright, post here whenever you can. 

I'm almost sure it's not the savegame, because only when I add the 33rd vehicle car washes start to spawn, with 32 evetything is smooth. The author of the topic in the gtaforums replied you can check, but I think there were solutions around the whole topic.

Did you try removing the save files anyway? Because that bug is usually caused by save corruption. 

I removed the save files from the folder, started a new game and drive a little bit and I didn't saw a single car wash model. On the second try the game just crashed (this doesn't bother me, it's probably because of the modded cars). So is there a non-corrupt 100% save game? :D

Try to download the same again. You are, sadly, the cause of the corruption :p

I tried with different savegame - same story, so I don't think the same will fix it. 

Then it could have something to do with the car model being corrupted, or the fact that you have too many high-poly cars ingame. 

Downloaded new savegame - I thought there were no car washes in the first 10 metres, but after that I was overwhelmed :D
Deleted this model and paste a new one - same.

I read about people who have 2 newveh.img files with 20 vehicles each. 

 

I will try to seperate them equally, because now I have 30 in the first and 2 in the second newveh.img file, but I believe that is not the reason.

 

Seperation doesn't work either. I'm out of options. I just don't get the logic of the game when there is 1 car more to spawn car washes, WTF?

I think you are simply using too many cars for your system to handle.

@ineseri It's not the fault in my system, I have 8 core i7 CPU and 2GB GPU, it's the game engine problem which as it seems somebody has fixed when he can add 40 vehicles.
