I am trying to write a personal script for car towing, and I was wondering if there was a way to have it interact with LCPDFR. The main thing I would want to do is check on-duty status, but I was wondering in general if there was a way to access LCPDFR things from other scripts. One thing I did notice was that 0.95 beta is not fully obfusucated (things like LCPDFR.Arrest show up in debug), but I assume that that will be fixed in the version that is not leaked.

Decompiling other peoples work is such a douchy move..

Anyway, if I remember correctly, you can interact with LCPD:FR with its GUID, but the developers are making a LUA plugin system, so I suggest you wait for that.

I thought I saw something about making custom scripts that can interact with 0.95. I say wait a while and see what happens, who knows what those sneaky developers are planning :ph34r:

Not decompiling; my observation with that was that I could see what methods were offered (not how they were done) (and that shows up just when including in VS2010)

But I agree that it is not very nice w/o permission, and obviously shouldn't work anyway (again, stable versions are obfusucated)

EDIT: The reason I was asking about C# stuff is b/c I know C# but not LUA

Sorry, there's no public API yet. We aim to provide a .NET and Lua scripting environment at some point.

If you give us more information on how you want to interact with LCPDFR, we could perhaps add it into the next release.

I think that would be amazing. There are a few things that i want to integrate with LCPDFR! When you say the next release, are you speaking of 0.95 - release, or something after that?

And working in the .net framework would be good, i have no LUA experience at all. :(

I would assume he means the version after .95, since .95 has undergone a feature freeze and new things aren't really being implemented anymore, but that's just my gut feeling.

0.95 originally should have the LUA/.NET API, but it seems as its been delayed, so it isn't a new idea per-se.

I remember seeing something about LUA too on the old site. I remember seeing a list of calls you can make using LUA.....anyone know about any updates?

and if you can interact with the GUID then anyone know if there is a list of commands and arguments?
