When I have the lowest settings on graphics it's 219/494 MB I change it and my screen goes black then it takes me to the desktop with gta iv open in the task bar it's quite annoying I have to reset the game every time I get it.

Yes, your computer can't handle the game is my guess. 

But I ran it before .....

That's the kind of information I want in the OP  Did you recently add any new mods? Make any changes? 

My old comp had 278mb of vid memory and it ran on high (I have no idea how) on about 25-30 fps with Game4Video enb :)

You are using the commandline, right? (commandline.txt in your main directory?) Can you try adding this to the end of that file?

Ok it works on a lower 1 but wheni use vdhs police helper it's like half the screen
