Hi guys, I'm looking into getting a gaming PC instead of suffering my laptop whilst playing LCPD:FR.

Can any of you guys give me an idea how well/on what settings these specs could run it?

  • AMD FX-4100, 4x 3.60GHz, (FD4100WMGUSBX)
  • AM3 ASUS M5A97 (90-MIBJK0-G0EAY0MZ)
  • NV MSI N670GTX-PE2GD5/OC, GeForce GTX 670, 2GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HD
  • 16 GB RAM ELIXIR / Kingston / G-Skill DDR-3 PC1600 (M2X8G64CB8HB
  • 120GB Samsung SSD 840 Series, SATA 6Gbs (MZ-7TD120BW)
  • DVD-RW Samsung SH-224BB Black, SATA, (SH-224BB/BESE)

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you already bought this gaming rig? What is/was your budget? Also do you intend to overclock your cpu?

Other than that though the system looks good enough to run GTA IV pretty decently. The graphics card should be able handle GTA IV and the SSD will help out. I couldn't help but notice though you don't have any other forms of storage other than the small SSD?

I'd advise upping the CPU, it's going to bottleneck the graphics card you have. If you can't spend any more, upgrade the CPU and downgrade the video card to a 660.
