Help with laptop to tv

Featured Replies

Ok, so I have my laptop with a broken screen and I cant see what im doing on the screen. Is there any way that when I turn the laptop on it comes on the tv. Like as soon as I turn the laptop on?

It's possible, I think you need a cord that goes from your Laptop and into your HDMI slot on your TV. I used to have my PC hooked up to my TV but a friend did it so i have no idea how to do it.. Maybe google?

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

Yep. If your computer, and your TV have an HDMI port, you can connect it.

But, if it doesn't, look to see if it has a VGA port on the TV (unlikely).

I know how to hook it up but its not coming up.

You may need to experiment with the settings a bit, I did the same thing (laptop screen resolution sucked - now I have a proper PC) but you need to play with the settings on both the tv and the laptop. It will work eventually, unless the laptop is so severely damaged that the video port has been damaged.

SCNG FTW!!
