I'm interested in finding different ways of making money in GTA V.

 

I currently buy stocks and taxi drive. I would really like to make more. I only have $1000 left.

Online is easy. I run around with my crew doing heists for quick cash and rob money cars etc. Also do GTA's missions which are another great way for cash. There is also the above mentioned bike glitch. But I heard R* is banning people for that. 

 

For singleplayer, I HEAVILY invested in stocks and spend my money very lightly. 

Blowing the backs of money trucks is an easy source of income as well as just saving up money from heists.

 

I also drive the tow truck around and those things. But I have yet to find a substantial, and consistent source of income

That's a great idea.  I've done them all, finished the story and working through to 100% completion.  I have plenty of cash now, but putting the Lester mission off till last would have made a lit more sense.

 

OP, once you finish the story and the final heist, you should be set with a minimum of $18M per charcter...should be enough to invest in property and other income creating businesses.

 

One thing that bugs me, all three protagonists can buy the same property that one of the other guys own.  For example, I purchase the Tequi-la-la as Mike, but Franklin can still purchase it also.  That doesn't make sense too much.

An amazing way of getting money is selling Gallivanters at Los Santos Customs (they are Range Rovers) they sell for $9000. Do this every 48 minutes

stealing patriots and selling them per day gets you 5 grand

You can sell them every 48 minutes or so. Don't do the Patriots, the Range Rovers go for $9000

you only ended with 18mil each charcter   ( excluding the trick with  investing in stocks as you go  http://www.lcpdfr.co...each-character/ )

 

 

cut down on what kind of crew you  bring with you on the final heist choose all shitty one's and you should end up with 35 - 38 mil for each character
