it seems like this mod doesn't want to load it's ini file correctly because I put in it:

[ENABLED]

left=true

right=true

hazards=true

permanent=true

lights=true

 

[KEYMAP]

left=,

right=.

hazards=U

permanent=p

lights=l

 

but every key in game remains the same as the default ones.

does someone somehow know what it is and how to solve it?

Sometimes you have to use numerals for assigning keys. Example "ENTER=001" Not really but just an example. Look in the read me or what the basic keys are. Full key shortcut lists I think are included in Bravehearts config for his policing script.

You can't just put "," and "." to use those keys, you have to find out what you would need to use. I think the only things you can use the actual key for are letters, everything else is something different than the key. I don't know what the Indicator mod uses.

and the readme says nothing more than:

Installation:

Just copy all files into your GTA IV root dir (e.g. C:ProgrammsRockstarGTA IV).

All files in /scripts/ have to be in /GTA IV/scripts/ then, the advanced hook one folder above (root folder).

 

Configuration:

You can see all keys inside the indicator.ini in scripts. Just open this file with any text editor.

Of course you are also able to change the keys. Just replace the given letters with the one you want to use.

 

Shouldn't be that hard :P

 

 

so yeah it might be usefull if they gave actual information about such comma keys
