is there anyway that anyone knows of to remove all weapons from a character? I just want to have like a handful of weps like taser, pistol, hk416, tear gas and the shotgun

    It's not possible no. Why would you want to do that anyway? The weapon wheel isn't very limiting when selecting weapons. You can change weapons fast even if you have many weapons.
