Hey everyone so just a thought, i know els works by reloading the entire car its a part of and thus makes the car "indestructable" whilst in operation, but isnt it possible to make els a seperate part of the car?, like the way a door is detachable, or maybe load els only on a door or a windsheild so the rest of the car doent have to be loaded? This would greatly imporve the ability the process els and would stop all the complaints of undestryable cars. Just a thought while I am a experienced modeler and texture desighner for other games I do not know the layout of the gta cars.

I'm fairly certain that ELS's refreshing quirk is a problem with the way the GTA IV extras system works.  ELS uses extras and whenever an extra is spawned the vehicle is respawned as per the way GTA IV is coded. 

If it could have been done, it would have been done is my guess here.
