Hey guys,

Since 0.95 Beta 1 started to foul up recently (after being on my GTAIV for about 2 days, would crash at a world event, though that's not what this thread is about), I had reluctantly decided to re-install 0.91 stable as per the advice given on the forum many times, which I had been running since I got GTAIV back in early July. In the installation process, when I give the information to link my account to the website, the installer gives me an error (will post at the bottom what I see), and will not let me continue. From what I understand, recently, CrimeStats had been closed for preparation work being done for 0.95, but since it is now operational (for the most part), I am wondering if it also supports 0.91 still. I should also mention that I had also disabled my Firewall (as per suggestions in earlier threads), so I am assuming it could be that 0.91 doesn't support Linking up with the website, but I would like to be sure.

Anyways, here is what the Error (in a box titled Microsoft .NET Framework) shows me:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to Continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box."

I hope that me posting this isn't a problem. Just need some clarification if it is still possible to link up 0.91 with our Accounts here.

I have read the pinned topics (assuming that's what you mean by stickies), don't see anything when it comes to submitting an error report (unless I missed it, eyes and brain getting slower and more prone to error these days.)

If so, that could explain it.

Answered my own question just now actually, went to the Downloads page to see when the installer was last updated. Since I had the installer in my Downloads folder since I got it, it never occurred to see when it was last updated, and from what I see (and what had been explained in another thread, but wasn't sure if it was 0.91 being discussed until I checked when 0.91 was released), 0.91 tries to contact the old server, where with 0.95 it is fixed and contacts the current server. Thanks for help!
