Hey,

I am new to this and I don't get how to mod when I try and install something it just doesn't let my game load so I undo it and then I try to unlock my folder and this comes up :

Did you install GTA IV in a non-default location? And wtf is GTA Modding Unlocker?

edit; seems gta modding unlocker only works for 1.0.1.0 - use something else.

You don't need to use the unlocker any more, the encrypted files get decrypted when you update.

I think my GTA is V1 and i installed it where it installed its self to : C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

You need 1.0.7.0. patch your game.

Right so i have now open'ed this file and how do i now install it?

Do i run the .exe and it does its self or do i put the .cab and .msi somewhere aswell?

Need to get a new disk due to it fucking up and disc wont load anymore

You do NOT need a new game disk.

It is asking for disc 1 NOT the backup when the disc says "Disc 1" and It was working before so swapping it on monday
