I think your computer is destined to fail or something... This is a weird issue.

Right click on GTAIV.exe, select properties, compatibility tab, check 'Run this program in compatiblity mode for Windows7' and uncheck 'Run this program as an administrator', launch the game.

Did that now instead of it going though loading the charaters it just crashs.

 

I guess thats a step further ;)

So now it will launch start showing the opening scene and then it will go black and i get;

Looked over same issue.

 

Could it be todo with the fact it shows i do not have gta connected to rockstar or GFWL?

 

If so how do i add?

How do you mean connected? Is your CD key not activated?

It must be. My Serial was legit.

 

Like on my GFWL There is nothing connected

And On My Rockstar gta is not connected.

Sorry for the bump but I Figured its better than making a new thread ;)

 

I am still having the issue but this team it seems like my GFWL is working, basicly i have recorded a video of my issue so you can get a better idea of my issue.

Your computer is not really made for gaming. GTA IV is a very demanding game and running it on an i3 with intergrated graphics is usually a no-go. 

Consider looking through this thread for a possible computer build: ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).
