I found this video and thought it was pretty neat. The SA Special Task Force is basically their SWAT Team. However, unlike American Departments they deal with a lot more while having a lot less equipment.

 

It makes me recall a quote I read somewhere from a retired South African Police Officer. After 144 shootouts in his career, he was finally quitting. He said the primary reason he retired "was because he was tired of running out of ammo".

Jesus, training exercises with live ammunition and real life humans. That's some elite training right there and will make you be on edge for sure. These guys seem to be facing death on a daily basis. Massive respect to them for doing what they do.

Are they having shootouts like every week? I hope they stay safe and continue doing their work. Also, that woman in the last clip is crazy! How can she do something like that?
