A mate I know told me while we were talking about ELS V7 not working for it too, & the reason is that it's hardcoded to work with patch 7 shaders only. So I think the reason should be the same.

    Yeah I am pretty sure it is to do with the Scripthook/Advanced hook they use for the coding, and those hooks use that patches shaders. Just to add on Skuare :)

    We use some memory hacking inside AdvancedHook that relies on static memory offsets which are different for each patch (since the executable is changed). Finding these offsets in all patches is simply not worth the effort, because most users have the latest patch anyway.
