Can't change from read only file

Ok so I read as much here as i can to install LCPDFR on GTA IV EFLC and get this error
 

Installation component 'LCPDFRModels' error'd!
   at System.String.Insert(Int32 startIndex, String value)
   at G17MediaSetupEngine.Installation_Components.tazershit.beginComponent()
   at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)
   at G17MediaSetupEngine.UI.Interface.wizardControl1_SelectedPageChanged(Object sender, EventArgs e)
 
I know how your suppose to get rid of it but it won't work. When i access the EFLC folder to change it from read only to unclicked it goes back to read only when i re-open it!

Don't we all love Windows? Windows won't actually let you change the read/write settings on a folder, if you don't "own" it. Move the entire folder to your desktop, change the attributes and move it back. This *should* work. 

 

Now, if only we could get a working GTA IV for Linux..... ;)
