and I've never had problems likt thad with GTA 4!!! I play on high details all the time, and it works great, but when I installed the mod it started

Well. The only thing I can think of is installing the latest patch (1.0.7.0, http://support.rockstargames.com/entries/484496-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese-). Also, laptops are not optimized for gaming and GTA IV is a very demanding game.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Try reinstalling LCPDFR, but run the installer as Admin (right click installer and select "Run as Admin").  Make sure the GTA root folder is not set to Read-Only, if it is, deselect and install LCPDFR (running as Admin).

If that don't work, post Diagnostic Tool results.

EDIT:  BTW; don't install any mods until you run LCPDFR by itself...play it until it crashes or you are satisfied it's installed properly before adding anything.  Then, when working properly, install one mod at a time, then test for a while, to make sure mod is not causing issues.
