hey guys so I followed exactly what the ELS 7 video on YouTube and installed it correctly. But I have a problem. My primary lights won't work for some reason. These are the els cars I have.

Can anyone help me to get ELS 7 to work properly? controls and such? or is it a glitch?

Do you use simple native trainer? If so, try this:

 

1. Open trainer.ini in your GTA directory

2. Search the document (CTRL+F) for KeyBindingsDisabled

3. Change the value after KeyBindingsDisabled from 0 to 1

4. Save and exit

KeybindingsDiabled is already on 1 so i don't thinkt hats the problem what should i do?

Go into your trainer ingame then go to options/ disable keys.

its always been disabled

That's exactly what I told him to do, except my change is permanent...

 

Anyway, are you certain that you installed ELS properly? Did you copy all of the folders over, including the scripthook and the dsound? When you enter an ELS-enabled vehicle and press CTRL+M, does the lighting mode window appear?

It does just the primary lights won't turn on ill keep this posted

so guys i reinstalled everything carefully and i think its working fine since i was playing around and getting familiar with controls but is there a PRML key? just want to reassure

the lighting windows does open when i press ctrl + m.

I had this same problem, so i downgraded to ELS V6, installed everything correctly and haven't had any problems since, the primary key for ELS V6 is "J". Also, i don't think there are a lot of cars that are ELS 7 enabled yet so i would download ELS 6 until it works properly

I finally got the primary buttons. You have to hold alt + j? tap j 3 times and hold it? its so difficult for some reason, i need an easier way to work with it

Try going to your ELS.ini in your main directory and changing the key for Toggle_LSTG = 

 

If the primary light button that you changed it to works, than it means either you have another mod interfering, or your trainer keys aren't disabled.

All ELS 6 cars are compatible with ELS 7.

 

Yep guys I fixed it problem solved I'm using a mac keyboard on windows 7 so something is not right with the j buttons including my other mac keyboard i tried so i reassign the hotkeys to my keypad work is done IM enjoying ELS 7
