Is there a way to cut down or eliminate the spawning of Police1 and Police2 in the traffic spawn rotation? It just seems like sometimes I can see as many as 5 or 6 police units in a 360 degree view, that's a little ridiculous, and also cutting down on the police spawns will help with people who crash from too many modded cars on screen.

There's a data file that controls how many vehicles of what kind spawn. I'll grab the file name for you.

EDIT: It's the popcycle.dat file under ...\common\data. Forgot the name, sorry. You'll want to change the perccopcars column (could be a pain).

Can't the TrafficFlow mod do that for you?

No, it only controls taxi cabs as far as I know. However, when it loads other vehicles into the game memory it MIGHT replace some cop cars.

I thought it was meant to do both actually, because the only cars that spawned in-game prior to me installing it were taxis and cop cars. Loads of them in big lines. I'd at least try the script and see if it solves anything.

I'm running traffic flow right now. I've edited the popcycle.dat file to drastically reduce police vehicle population, going to fire it up and see how it goes. I'll report back.

I'm not saying it's impossible for the trafficflow mod to solve it, I'm just saying it is generally meant for removing the taxi bug. It is definitely possible that it replaces cop cars as well.

Less Cop mod? Doesn't spawn too many cars at once when you use it, easy to use too.
