"the deadliest wildland blaze for firefighters in more than 35 years"

Sad as a volunteer firefighter with the lost of my local Houston brothers, 19 more brave men have lost their lifes they were apart of an elite team and that team is gone only 1 person of that elite crew remains.

My prayers go out to the familes.

I just heard about this 5 minutes ago on the news. I instantly flashed back to the Black Saturday Bushfires of 2009 where 173 people died. Horrible stuff.

RIP to those brave fireman who died trying to battle the blaze.
