Every time I play GTA IV online with my friends it runs very well, with a few textures disappearing. But that is not the problem... Everytime I am killed in multiplayer it sends me to a loading screen, no matter what the respawn limit is, I sit on the loading screen for a bit until it finally crashes my game. I have tried installing the newest patches (and old) and reinstalling the game... Neither have worked. Please help!

Mods: Police car mods(police, police2,polpatriot,pstockade,fbi,nstockade,noose). LCPDFR, Braveheart's Policing, vdh Police Helper, Towservice, TrafficLoad.

Yes we use TrafficLoad in MP... And yes my specs are not the best, if you want to point out what caught your eye I may be investing in new things..

Traffic load may be the problem, you don't need it in mp. Taxi bug does not occur in mp. Don't use traffic loader in multiplayer!

Works like a charm, Thanks! I forgot I had 5 second respawn time on, but anyways I played for about 30 minutes and died about 8 times. I had to cross my fingers when I got to the loading screen, but it worked everytime. I also gained about 8 fps in MP. Thanks for your help!

Also as an FYI, TrafficLoad and other traffic modifying scripts have a tendency to make the mp game less stable as well as can spawn cars you cannot see.

So if you are playing with a group it is best if you make sure none of them have it.

Alright will do! I usually modify our game with new cars and mods and then send the new files to them so thats what I will do and I'll tell them to delete all traffic mods.

Deleting TrafficLoad helped a bit, but later on about 20 minutes into the game we have trouble respawning and it freezes on loading screen still...? Help?

Don't worry, it happens to me too. Its just typical GTA. I've gotten used to it because it happens so much. The only way to fix it is by removing or decreasing the amount of mods you have.

Is this mods as in scripts, or cars? Or Both? Because I deleted about 12 cars, so I only have about 7 modded ones, and we only have 4 scripts.

I try to keep only my police and fire vehicles modded. As for scripts, I use a ton.

Same for me, I have all police vehicles and a firetruck and ambulance. And again I only use 3 scripts. Sometimes we respawn but after a while we don't): But we also like to play and run from the cops and shoot them so for that we made a backup of our game and deleted all modded things and it works like a charm. But when we want to play with mods, we almost have to have godmode turned on so we don't die and crash...
