Everything is complicated if you don't dedicate a minimum of time to it. 

 

Yes, ELSv7 takes a few tries and a lot of .ini editing to get used to, but once you do, it's freaking great.

Apart from my laziness which I don't feel like reading the guide soooo sorry I should be punished about that -_- every time I use ELS V7 the building textures disappear this never happened to ELS V6 dont know why.

Your system/gpu can't handle it, it overloads your system  so it blocks off textures or something.

V6 Is less complex and is also a pain in the ass, els v6 is just one button you can go, v7 you have to go through lightstages which is a pain

No, it isn't. Express mode makes the lights automatically activate with the siren. ELS 6 only did that if you had Auto on. Other wise the siren can be on without the lights and vice versa.

Actually the light stages are pretty cool and ELS V7 has tons of new features that are also better and more realistic. And you say going through lightstages is a pain? Have the read the manual? You can press ALT + J to do the lightstages backwards so you start at the primary LS. Also after configuring everything in the ELS.ini and the vehicle config files, although it does take some time, it's WORTH IT.

I know multiple people will disagree with this, but because I use a controller, It is easier for one snap at J instead of three or Alt + J

 

I have played around with Els V7 and yes, I will eventually migrate, except not at this point in time. :D
