Lag fix for horrible Laptop?

Featured Replies

I dont have money to buy a gaming desktop but my eyes are on one for right now im using my laptop which is terrible to play GTA IV on so does anyone know anyways to reduce the lag? I enjoy GTA IV and LCPDFR currently this is the only computer i have to play LCPDFR on so please help.

Ways To Help Me:

  • Suggest Programs and or in game FPS boosters
  • Do not say stuff like your Laptop sucks buy a new copmputer or You will always play with lag. (I know this don't remind me)

Steps I Have Taken:

  • Used a commandline
  • installed FPS boosters (Visual IV, timecycle.dat, diffrent roads, ETC.)
  • Lowered In-Game Settings

My Specs:

  •    Model: Presario CQ57 Notebook PC
  •    Processor: AMD E-300 APU with Radeon HD Graphics (1.3ghz)
  •    Ram: 5.00GB (4.60 Usable)
  •    Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6310 Graphics

I have to say it; The computer is nowhere near able to play it okay. Your processor is very poor, Integrated graphics won't get you far. Ram is okay for now, but overall i'd you must buy a new pc. In my opinion build a gaming desktop. Sorry They ported gta wrong when converting it from console to pc. If they did port it right you probably would be able to play if you had recommended specs.

What he said. Your computer can't handle the game. The only thing you could've done was lower your settings. If that didn't help, then I don't know what we can tell you!
