Fatal Error

Featured Replies

Hey fellow gamers,

I've got a problem to deal with and I was hoping to find some help here on these forums.

When I play for X minutes I get a 'fatal error' and the game crashes (sad face).

Check the attached file for all of the details it gives. I have multiple mods installed:

- LCPDFR

- Traffic Load

- ELS V6.1

- Dutch Police pack V3 (including cars, uniforms, ELS and sirens)

- Police Helper

- Medical Examinator

- Tow Services

I've installed the mods correctly and I've redone it four times.

Other people get it working but I sadly don't. I hope you can help me!

Yours sincerely,

Der Thermometer

Do a clean install of GTA IV + LCPDFR, test it, then add your mods one by one, so you'll see which one is messing with your game.

We can't help you with just "it crashes", we need troubleshooting and details.

It seems to crash with ELS (Both V6.1 and V7)

I'm always using a fresh installation of GTA IV before I put my mods in it.

About ELS7 you can try to disable AI cars lights ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>).

I don't remember if we can do that in v6. And yes v7 is more stable than v6, but not perfect.

Did you try with other cars ? Are you sure to install ELS correctly ?

About diagnostic report, everything seems ok.

EDIT : off-topic, PursuitGamer6/JustFire, I saw your signature, why don't you use the "forget password" link in sign-in page ? x)

I used to get that problem. I found out it's not your game whatever mods you are using has not been updated. like your car mods. if you are using old car mods that could be the problem.
