I keep getting an error every time I try to download LCPDFR and it tells me to post the information down below. So here ya go! Can anyone help me?

When do you get this message?

I got it after the screen shows the Summary of everything, but time wise. I just got it a couple minutes ago 

So you were on the summary and clicked next and then it stopped installing and you got that?

Yes. It didn't continue to download, it told me that I needed to post this on the support page.

Did you make sure when you got up to the save part, it was going right to where your game was saved?

Yea it was going to the GTA folder

I actually cant even start the game now. It keeps saying "gta has stopped working, microsoft is searching for a fix to the problem"

Run the GTA:IV Diagnostics Tool, then copy and paste it onto the post. 

Where do i find the diagnostics tool?

nvm i found it, i will download and run

 

Ok the diagnostics tool is getting the same message but it did say that the ASI loader is not found?

Thats all it gives me, when i close that to try and copy whats actually in the diagnostics tool, the tool closes. But i can see that everything is supported except "GTA$: ASI loader not found"

Ok well try to download this: http://www.gta-downloads.com/en/gta4/tools/10295-gtaiv-yaasil-yet-another-asi-loader.html.

Drag that into your directory.

OK i deleted the dsound.dll file and now the game starts but i still get the same error message when installing lcfr

 

Im using xliveless if that makes a difference. My game wouldnt run without it

I really don't even know anymore. When I had this problem, it was because I was saving it to the wrong file and then I changed it to the the right one and it worked. I don't use xliveless so.

I just ran the diagnostics tool again. This time it detects the ASI loader but still says a problem has caused the application to close.

I'm sorry it didn't work.

if you can't figure it out, reinstall your game, make a backup with NO mods in it, then add the mods you want one by one. That's what I always do when this happens.

If you have any other questions just message me or something and i'll try to answer them asap.

I think i may have fixed it. I unchecked the taser install and the mod installed fine. i wont get to use the taser but oh well. I will post if it works in game or not

Ok so its fully installed and everything but ALT P wont start it in the game. Any suggestions? It says its installed but its playing as if it isnt

I fixed my issue, it wasn't saving to the right file. Everything is working fine now!
