Problem solved. Took me forever to realize it but when i installed the update it didnt properly install so i was running an outdated game version. Redownloaded and installed the update and it works like a charm. Button commands are a little buggy sometimes but overall a great mod

So everything is installed, diagnositcs says i have all the requirements. I believe everything is where it needs to be although im completely computer illiterate so i could be wrong. However, when i load the game and try to go on duty, nothing happens. Its as if there is no mod installed. I also tried to hit the ` key to bring up the script, nothing happens when i hit that either. I looked through about a dozen different threads on here over the last two years about this and none of them helped me solve the problem. Any suggestions? Im seriously about to just give up on this mod and it kills me because its the reason i bought the game ::edit:: I suppose it is worth noting that i cant seem to get the gta folder to remain unchecked in the read only box. uncheck it, it looks like it is unchecked but when i close it and reopen it it is checked read only again

I think i may have fixed it. I unchecked the taser install and the mod installed fine. i wont get to use the taser but oh well. I will post if it works in game or not Ok so its fully installed and everything but ALT P wont start it in the game. Any suggestions? It says its installed but its playing as if it isnt

I just ran the diagnostics tool again. This time it detects the ASI loader but still says a problem has caused the application to close. Ok i will putz around with it a bit. Thanks for the help

OK i deleted the dsound.dll file and now the game starts but i still get the same error message when installing lcfr Im using xliveless if that makes a difference. My game wouldnt run without it

[Cancel] Thats all it gives me, when i close that to try and copy whats actually in the diagnostics tool, the tool closes. But i can see that everything is supported except "GTA$: ASI loader not found"

Where do i find the diagnostics tool? nvm i found it, i will download and run Ok the diagnostics tool is getting the same message but it did say that the ASI loader is not found?

Yea it was going to the GTA folder I actually cant even start the game now. It keeps saying "gta has stopped working, microsoft is searching for a fix to the problem"
