After being reminding of a certain ending, it got me thinking.

 

Whats the best ending you've seen in a videogame? One thats actually pulled a response from you?

And whats the worst, most shittest one?

Best Ending

Red Dead Redemption

 

Videogames rarely produce a response from me, but this one almost brought me to tears as you spent countless hours learning of John's story and forming a bond with him, taking his side as he just tries to make a good life for his family.

That ending though, damn. Soon as I saw him walk up to the barn doors, I knew it was the end of one of the best characters in videogame history.

 

Worst Ending

L.A Noire

 

I really expected better from Team Bondi. After what was an incredible game, the ending was quick and - quite frankly, shit. After going through three discs (xbox) and driving for what seemed like miles, using actual brainpower to solve crimes, I wasn't happy with how Phelps simply said "Goodbye" then was hit by that wave of water. Completely pointless.

Well, maybe not the best ending that I saw in a video game, but being a bit tired ^^ the real good one that I remember right now is from Metal Gear Solid 3. Heartbreaking (but I'm a sensitive guy :3).

EDIT : another one, I think it was in Super Metroid (or a later episode), when...

And there are too much shitty endings imho to tell which one is the worst :D

I think the worst story line was driver SF. It was total bullshit
