That new super fast internet internet

Featured Replies

I'm on a new internet that is super fast, it simultaneously downloads from about 6 different parallel universes, I'd go in to the technological aspect of it, but you know it's all wibbly wobly timey wimey stuff.

But seriously, I just saw this on steam and enjoyed it hahaha. Some glitch or random burst of data?

I think I saw something in the latest steam update news about this, apparently some games can now shoot past their allocated bandwidth if they need to update when loading up..

If not, well..

And I thought MY internet was fast. So lets see what Win Live for Games and Origin have as an answer to this.

Maybe the PC version of GTA V has been secreted to take advantage of this.

Yea, I remember reading about that in the update, I think few people really do read update change logs, but I do, and Harper I'm sorry to say, but you are wrong.

Removed “Approximate speed of your connection” selector from Settings->Downloads. This was only used to set a default “rate” setting for some Valve and Source Engine games. The default rate value is correct for almost everyone and the value should be adjusted in each game if appropriate going forward

This update only affects the settings, this was found as I was downloading a game, but kudos on the Dr. Who reference. I've only watched a few seasons so far, but I think I still prefer the original series, and I doubt that this will last as long as the original did.

Not to get too offtopic, but David Tennant was the best doctor IMO.

I lost interest when Matt Smith took over, not to mention Tennant's last episode was damn emotional.

Yes you are correct :P, and I think Dr. Who is slightly related to the topic as he is the master of the Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey stuff :P
