Font on LAPD vehicles

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm wondering what fonts these are. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

First off, I'm wondering what "square-ish" font is, the one they use for unit numbers/POLICE on doors?

Secondly, what font is on the top of the vehicle (unit numbers)?

Last of all, what font is used for the "to protect and serve"?

Thanks in advance. I'm working on some LAPD-based skins so this helps me out alot.

I know this is an old thread but I just happened across it and noticed it wasn't fully answered.

1. Stratum 2 (As Brony said above, I believe this is correct but I could only locate Stratum1 and it seems to work okay.)

2. Arial Bold (not included because you should have this.)

3. Old Standard (I don't think this is an exact match either but I can't really tell the difference.)

You're right, this is a very old thread. Thank you for your answer though, I've pinned it to the top of this thread so others can easily find the correct fonts, but to prevent any further replies I'm locking this.
