Hi, I just discover and install this mod today but when I try to run EFLC the game crash just after the loading screen. I done a diagnostics and this is the result :

Everything seems ok in the report.

Do you run game as admin ? Did you uncheck read-only on game folder ?

Do you have other mods, like ELS, or some cars ?

I thought that I already uncheck the "read-only" but it seems that I was wrong, it works now ! Thank you.

Well I thought that was OK... but the problem is back.

I can't uncheck read only, indeed when I uncheck it and apply the modification it came back like before.


(Difficile à expliquer en anglais... j'le fais au cas où certaines personnes auraient le même problèmes que moi, mais sinon en français quand je décoche lecture seule et que je quitte la fenêtre en appliquant les modifications et qu'en suite je réouvre la fenêtre pour voir si tout est bon ben je vois qu'en fait rien n'a changé, la lecture seule est toujours activée. J'ai fais une recherche internet et visiblement c'est une tare sur windows 7 et 8. Seulement j'ai pas trouvé de solutions adapté, alors je ne sais pas si t'as déjà eu à faire à ce problème mais si tu sais comment faire je t'en remercie puisque ça fait pas mal de temps que ce truc me pourrit la vie ^^)

It's normal, just be sure to do it once.

C'est normal, faut juste être sur de l'avoir fait au moins une fois. Ce n'est pas une "tare".

 

Si tu veux continuer en français ouvre plutôt un topic dans le forum FR, et si c'est résolu tu reviendras dire comment ici, en anglais.

 

 

I really don't understand, sometimes it works but most of the time the game just crash after the "Ballad of gay tony" loading screen.
It's been 2 hrs that I try to fix that, that's enough for me. I hope that someone has the solution, otherwise I will just uninstall it.

Have you got ELS 7 ? Have you got other mods (scripts, cars, etc...) ?

Yep, I have just ELS 7

Looks to me that you do not have the latest patch installed for EFLC.  Isn't it 1.7.1.7?  It's been a bit since I've had to do the dance.

 

ELSv7 is the only mod, other than LCPDFR?  No cars, nothing else?

 @DrDetroit : no it's patch 2 for EFLC, 1.7.1.7 is the latest ScriptHookDotNet

 

@Ranger34 : try to remove ELS7, if it works, look at my Fix Center and try 2C or 2E.

Essaie de retirer ELS7, si ça marche, regarde mon Fix Center (lien dans signature) et essaie les points 2C ou 2E.

So one day later I restart the game and it works... I guess I just needed to restart my computer because I really don't touch anything else.
Anyway thank you for your help !
