So I recently had this sudden urge to make my GTA IV to an LA Noire themed game. Like having everything look 40s and what not. I'll need some help with a few things

• The naming of certain files and their location (Billboards, AI people, and what not)
• Simple script making (make it so the AI don't pull out their cell phones, delay in emergency services response as their were no cell phones to contact 911 and you had to find a pay phone or run to a store to call 911)
• Help finding mods on other websites (Cars, AI, Clothes, building mods, etc)

I plan on modding the following

• the radio stations
• car sound effects
• advertisements such as billboards and on the sides of trucks and vending machines
• removing the internet cafe or at least turning it into a library or something
• changing the guns
• changing the AI clothing to WWII era clothing
• Adding signs on to the side of building as NYCbuildings in the 40s would have
• Changing the LCPD recruiting centre in star junction to a us army recruiting station

Just go and get a copy of Mafia and/or Mafia2.  Great games, and the theme is more what you're talking about.

I know of the Mafia games but I was wanting a 40s themed game on RAGE plus I want to be able to use LCPDFR with a 40s themed GTA IV, I will probably buy Mafia 2 on steam though if my idea is unsuccessful or if I get bored of a 40s themed GTA IV

Long story short:

Buy Mafia 2. That's what a game in your era is. If you want to be able to play LCPD:FR on a 40's themed GTA IV that you're going to make yourself, buy Mafia 2 and complete it. When you know all the sayings in game and advertising a etc, change your files to what you want. No way you can do this by asking other people, look for yourself it's the best way.

So you mean I can role-play being a cop in Mafia 2 if I complete it? I already have downloaded nearly every 30s, 40s, 50s vehicle mod out there and all the guns I need. It was kind of stupid to ask for people to help me look for mods since the best way IS for me to find them myself. Thanks!
