Person Transport Service by Cyron43

This is a mod for GTA IV 1.0.7.0 and EFLC 1.1.2.0.

You need HazardX's .net scripthook in order to run this mod

This mod is provided as is. Use it, spread it among your friends but do not repost it as your own

work!

Modifications to the code need my approval.

Description

With this mod you can let your player character work as a person transport driver.

Earn 100$ with each successful delivery.

You start at a HQ and await an order.

Once you got that order, drive to the customer and let him enter the vehicle.

He will tell you now where he wants you to drop him.

Drive there and your order is done.

Await the next order from the HQ or cease your duty at any time.

Beware, your customers are very forgiving but if you flip your vehicle upside down or if you lose

your customer during the ride he will leave and you get a fine of 100$!

So behave! :D

Features

• Highly configurable through a state of the art XML file (LimoServiceConfig.xml).

For instance you can set all keyboard commands to your liking.

The keyboard commands I refer to below are the default ones but you can change them at

your will.

• You can drive whatever vehicle you want! It's fun to use an airtug or a faggio.

• Have a bodyguard drive with you or not. It's your choice.

• Comes with (currently) 260 locations.

• You can add a new location in a most easy way at any time.

Just place your player character at the location you want (in vehicle or not doesn't matter),

press Ctrl+S and you're done.

• You can set open hours and open days for each and every location (the preset ones already

have).

• You can give names to the locations (details below).

• With that big amount of locations it's convenient to have an overview in form of a location

map.

Installation

1. Unpack the LimoService.rar

2. Copy the file LimoService.net.dll to C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVscripts

3. Get the 1.7.1.7 ScriptHookDotNet here and put the scripthookdotnet.asi and scripthook.dll files in GTA root folder.

4. Create a folder called "GTA IV" and another folder Called "ModSettings".

5. Copy the LimoService folder to the recently created "ModSettings" folder.

6. Then put the "ModSettings" folder inside the recently created "GTA IV" folder.

7. Move the "GTA IV" folder to My Documents folder or User Document folder.

8. Go ingame and activate the script by pressing Alt+L

I dunno but most of the script mods you post, either don't work for me or break LCPDFR so that it gives core.sharp error or something. Do these mods require a special version of SHDN?

All of the script mods that Ive posted have worked for me when running LCPD:FR at the same time, and the link to the newest Scripthook is posted above, you could try to download that and try if it works

There are errors in installation description (not your fault carry), so here is the correct way :

Don't forget to backup the original scripthookdotnet.asi and scripthook.dll, just in case.

EDIT : the mod works well and doesn't conflict with LCPDFR, if it didn't work it's because of the uncorrect installation guide.

  • 9 months later...

Hi guys, this is the creator of PTS (person transport service). This mod has undergone some improvements and bug fixes and the name is not LimoService anymore.

Anyway I wonder why your installation instructions are so complicated. Just open the rar file and you will see (among other things) a folder called GTA IV.

Drag and drop it into the Documents folder.

Next drag and drop the PTS.net.dll into c:ProgramsRockstar GamesEFLCScripts   and/or   c:ProgramsRockstar GamesGTA IVScripts.

That's it!

Also the rar comes with a guide where the installation process is described in all detail. :)
