hi i have steam and i need help with the location to put it in and i do

computer/osc/programfiles86/steam/steamapps/common/grandtheftautoiv/GTAIV

then it gives me this big long error list after i try to login can someone help?

ok so when i start up gtaiv i press altp

when do i use alt p cause when it loads it takes me to gtaiv and liberty city screen which should i click and when do i use alt p

Use ALT+P when the game is loaded and you can run freely on the road. (Loading is over and you're in an open area)

when i click on gtaiv it loads brings me to a screen of two choices gtaiv and liberty city and i click on gtaiv then after it loads press alt p

You know, you actaully have to GET in game then press ALT + P.
