Nutt's wayne county sheriff cars question

Featured Replies

If the templates are the same you can simply replace the livery of the DFS CVPI with the livery of Nutt's CVPI with OpenIV.

If not, you will have to convert the skin to DFS CVPI template.

Hope this helps ;)

how do i convert the skin to the dsf cvpi template

First a tiny heads up, people don't tend to like people asking the same question twice within a couple of hours, and double posting might be against the forum rules (not sure though)

Anyway, If you want to "convert" the skin to another template, you will first need to ask Nutt if you can use his skin on another car.
Then you basically have to redo the skin from scratch using the template that is included in the DFS CVPI download.

For a tutorial on skinning you can go to the tutorial section on LCPDFR: http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/tutorials/index.action
I am not a skinner myself, so my knowledge stops here, but I do know making a high quality skin is pretty hard, so don't give up if the first try isn't succesfull.

Good luck!
